New Patch to Version 3.4 Available - Feb 7th, 2006

If you downloaded Adtrackz on or before Feb 7th, 2006, you may want to download this patch, which fixes the google problem and the ion cube loader errors.

Step 1: Download Files

Download the new adtrackz files: adtrackzv34.zip

Step 2: Upload New Adtrackz Files

Upload all the files from the code directory in the zip file to the adtrackz directory on your server. Choose yes when asked to overwrite.

Login as usual.

Upgrade to Version 3.40 From Version 3.30

Upgrade your version 3.30 to version 3.40. If you are running any previous version before 3.20, then you have to upgrade to 3.20 (see below)

Step 1: Download Files

Download the new adtrackz files: adtrackzv34.zip

Step 2: Upload New Adtrackz Files

Upload all the files from the code directory in the zip file to the adtrackz directory on your server. Choose yes when asked to overwrite.

Login as usual.

Upgrade to Version 3.30 From Version 3.20

Upgrade your version 3.20 to version 3.30. If you are running any previous version before 3.20, then you have to upgrade to 3.20 (see below)

Step 1: Download Files

Download the upgrade package: adtrackz-upgrade32to33.zip

After extracting the archive, you should have 2 .php files and a directory called "code" with 66 .php files.

Upload upgrade32to33.php to your Adtrackz directory. Do not upload the files from the code directory yet.

Step 2: Run the Upgrade Script

Go to http://yourdomain.com/adtrackz/upgrade32to33.php and follow the instructions.

Step 3: Upload New Adtrackz Files

If the upgrade was successful, upload all the files from the code directory in the zip file to the adtrackz directory on your server.

Adtrackz Upgrade to Version 3.20

This process will upgrade any 3.x version to 3.2 which was released december 3rd, 2004.

Step 1: Download Files

After extracting the archive, you should have 2 .php files and a directory called "code" with 66 files.

Upload the following files to your Adtrackz directory:

• upgradeto32.php
• createtables-32update.php

note:  Do not upload the files from the code directory yet!

Step 2: Run the Upgrade Script

Go to http://yourdomain.com/adtrackz/upgradeto32.php and follow the instructions.

Step 3: Upload New Adtrackz Files

If the upgrade was successful, upload all the files from the code directory in the zipe file to the adtrackz directory on your server.

TroubleShooting for Version 3.20

If you run into problems, don't worry, you did not lose your data and everything can be restored quite easily. First you need to go to  http://yourdomain.com/adtrackz/upgradeto32.php and click on the last button which says: "Restore Tables (for emergency purposes only)".

At this point you can try the upgrade again.
